The re-installation of Windows OS into your computer can be really painful if you do it manually. What I mean is first, you install your Windows OS using your Windows CD, then you continue by installing the hardware drivers from your Driver CD and finally, install your favourite application software into your computer. This long manual process may take up to two hours (or more) to complete.
The two hours long process can be greatly reduced to 5 – 10 minutes if you have drive imaging application like Acronis True Image. This is the software that I’m currently use. If you have budget, the lastest version of Acronis True Image Home 2009 can be purchased for $49.99 per license.
If you want to save on money, here is a less painful method that you can use. During the hardware drivers installation, you can get all your hardware drivers restored in one go by using the Windows hardware drivers backup utility. I personally recommend you using Driver Max.
For less painful application installation on your freshly installed PC, Smart Installer Pack is a good choice for you. SIP is software pack that are bundled with a set of 24 popular and commonly used free software like Google Chrome, Firefox, Winamp, WinRAR, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, OpenOffice.org, CCleaner and more. Using SIP, you can install all your favourite software in a few minutes.
Here is the list of software included in the software pack :

After you have download the Smart Installer Pack, run the installer, choose the software that you want to install and SIP will take care of the rest.
