MessenPass is a lightweight password recovery tool that recovers your forgotten instant messenger passwords. This application can reveals passwords of the following instant messenger applications :
- MSN Messenger
- Windows Messenger (In Windows XP)
- Windows Live Messenger (In Windows XP And Vista)
- Yahoo Messenger (Versions 5.x and 6.x)
- Google Talk
- ICQ Lite 4.x/5.x/2003
- AOL Instant Messenger v4.6 or below, AIM 6.x, and AIM Pro
- Trillian
- Miranda
- GAIM/Pidgin

This freeware requires no installation. Simply run the executable file (mspass.exe) from zip archive file. The main window of MessenPass will displayed all the username and password pairs of the instant messenger applications that installed on your computer.
Note that MessenPass can only be used to recover the passwords for the current logged-on user on your local computer, and it only works if you chose the “remember your password” option in one of the above programs.

This program is pretty specific in nature, and at the same time, it covers a wide array of IM programs. Users of this program would probably later want a version that also grabs passwords from other common programs and sites. Someone else getting control of the program would be quite a risk, though.
