Just admit it, everyone always seeks for the fastest way to get a particular task done. Everyone wants to shut down their computer fast, quickly reject their USB drives and more. The list is endless!

How about the fastest way to adjust the volume of your computer’s speaker? Even if you have a volume control on your keyboard, it is just not fast enough! The fastest way would be using your wheel mouse. Read on to find out. But hold on first! Don’t try and scroll your mouse now because nothing will happen. You need a software in order to get it works.

Keyboard Volume Control

Volumouse is small but handy Windows utility software that allows you to quickly adjust the sound volume on your computer, simply by rolling the wheel of your wheel mouse. To use Volumouse, you have to first define combinations or a set of rules, so that the volume adjusting will only be used when one of your defined combinations is satisfied. For example, you can configure to use your mouse wheel for volume control when the Alt key is hold down.

This software allows you define up to five combinations. For me, one combination is more than enough. The best combination to adjust the sound volume fast ( I mean the fastest! ) , would be the option that when you move your mouse cursor over the taskbar, you can start rolling your mouse wheel for volume adjustment. Quick and easy without the need to press any single key on the keyboard!

Besides volume control, you can use Volumouse for other purposes with this additional plug-ins.

Volumouse is free. Go try it now on your computer.
