wp-comments-notifier is an open source application written in QT/C++ that will send notification to your desktop whenever a new comment is posted on your WordPress blog. This application is particularly useful for bloggers who regularly login to their WordPress blog just to check for new comments. This WordPress comment notifier also works well with WordPress MU.
After successful installation, on the first run, you are required to add your blog account to the application. Type in your blog’s address, your username and password. Click next to set up your blog account information.
This application sits quietly in your system tray. When you have new comments, wp-comments-notifier will display a pop-up notification to let you know about it.
Besides notifies you of new comments, this application also includes features that allow you to manage/reply/edit your comments directly from your desktop.
wp-comments-notifier is compatible with all versions of Windows including Windows XP, Vista and 7.
