Looking for free games to kill the time? Look no further than the Game Downloader. It is a lightweight portable and open source download client that gives you access to more than 200 free game titles. With a single click, you can download the selected game installer to your computer.
The application has a straightforward interface. In the main window, there is a drop-down menu to select the category of the games (Action, Adventure, Arcade, Puzzle, RPG, just to name a few). Under each category, you will see a bunch of games listed (the number of games vary between categories).
Clicking on a game title, will display details like the game info, game version, the size of the installer and game screenshot. There is a button to access the game’s website. To download a game, simply select the game of your interest, then hit the “Download Game” button to get the game installer. Note that you need to connect to the internet for the download to run.
Game Downloader is free for download and is compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP. Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 to run.
