Disk Checker

Disk Checker is a free disk utility for Windows that uses Self Monitoring and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.), to predict failure of your system disk.

It displays simple disk information including disk health, raw error rate, reallocated sectors count, spin up time, seek error rate, spin retry count and temperature reading.

The attributes are vendor specific and so, the health status generated may not be accurate. However, a disk failure can be predicted if sudden decreases in the attributes are seen.

You need Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 on your Windows in order to run this utility.

P.S. : I have checked my hard drive using Disk Checker.  The heatlh status showing only 62%. Not a good sign for me. How about your hard drive? Still in good shape?
