Completely Uninstall Windows Live Messenger/MSN Messenger with WLMUninstaller1 min read

WLMUninstaller is free uninstaller standalone application that allows you to completely uninstall and remove Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger from your computer.

This application is particular useful for those who have trouble to find the uninstaller for Windows Live Messenger in the Add/Remove Programs list. You can’t find the uninstaller mainly because the location of the uninstaller has been changed for Windows Live Messenger.

How to Uninstall Windows Live Messenger using Windows Add/Remove Programs?

Okay, you’ve learnt that Windows Live Messenger is not in the Add/Remove Programs list. Well, the uninstaller for Windows Live Messenger is there but it’s just not obvious. Confused? You must thank Microsoft because they are really good at hiding up the uninstaller.

Uninstall Windows Live Messenger using Add/Remove Programs

The uninstaller is actually inside the Windows Live Essentials. In fact the uninstaller for all the other Windows Live products that you’ve installed are also inside. Now, click on its Change/Remove option. You’ll be asked if you want to Uninstall, or Repair a Windows Live program. Select Uninstall and click Continue. Next, check the “Messenger” option and click Continue.

Done! Windows Live Messenger is successfully removed from your computer. 🙂
