AVAST has announced the availability of avast! 8 range of security products to the public. Earlier last month, the leading Czech anti-virus vendor made available the first public beta versions of avast! 8 security applications.
New versions of avast!’s range of free and paid offerings include avast! 8 Free Antivirus, avast! 8 Premier Antivirus (new edition), avast! 8 Pro and avast! 8 Internet Security.
The new avast! 8 security software all feature a redesigned Windows 8-style interface and works with touch-screen technologies. Other than brand new user interface, avast! 8 also comes with new Software Updater module, Browser Cleanup tool, Data Shredder (Premier only), AccessAnywhere (Premier only) as well as improvements to existing features like Autosandbox/Sandbox technology and general antivirus performance and stability.
