Traffic Stat for September 2009
Here is the traffic stat for My Tech Quest for last month, September 2009.
- Visits : 41,657 (+4,565)
- Pageviews : 61,297 (+7,323)
Money Made Online in September 2009
- Google Adsense : $ 212.68
- Infolinks : $ 52.69
The total money I’ve made online : $ 265.37
Publishing the blog traffic and income report is now like a routine for me. I’m enjoying myself telling you the traffic that I’ve received and the money that I’ve made from blogging. Not that I want to brag about it. With such a small traffic and income figures, there is nothing to brag about actually. Right? Anyway, I hope you don’t get bored though. 
Last month was a good month for me. The traffic has increased in term of visits (extra 4k) and pageviews (extra 7k). If the trend continues, I can get six-figure income traffic (in term of pageviews) by the end of the year. Not just the traffic figure, but the money that I’ve made online also increased. I’ve made extra 65 dollars. I am also happy that finally I’ve reached my $200 Adsense goal. It has took me 4 months to achieve this goal. My next goal will be to earn $ 300 from Adsense alone. How long will it take this time, I don’t know, but I hope it doesn’t make me wait too long.
Here I have outline several goals that I would like to achieve for this month.
- Get 300 Feed subscribers.
- Publish at least 50 blog posts.
- Make $ 300 from blogging.
In the meantime, I’ve been thinking of running my first ever blog contest. Well, I haven’t decided yet on the date and the prizes. Perhaps because it will be my first time to run contest, so I will take more time to figure out the prizes to be given, how to promote the contest, how to attract people to take part in the contest etc. So did you run contest on your blog before? If yes, I would love to hear about it. Mind to share with me how you promote your contest, what kind of contest your held, what prizes you given (cash, software license key, etc) and in your opinion, what are the main factors that contributed to the success of blog contest?

Whoaaa… why so much money all of a sudden? Nice one, Steve! The traffic has increased quite significantly too! What happened??
I just keep writing blog posts and the traffic just coming in. Perhaps it’s because I’ve posted quite a number of freebie related entries. Yeah, Adsense keeps making me happy but I’m still not satisfied with it. My CTR is just normal (below 2%). Hope the CTR will increase. How about your traffic and income for last month?

Yeah, my traffic and the money earned each month are getting better and better. Hope this month, the trend will continue.
If you want to earn more with infolinks, use double line linking. My AM told me that advertisers prefer to have a double underline links. True enough, my ecpm got a 20-30% boost.
