Blog Earning Report

Here is the breakdown of my earnings for November 2010,

  • Google Adsense : $835.48
  • Kontera : $146.43
  • Searchspots : $5.81

Total money made online : USD$987.42 , with eCPM of USD$4.98.

Another month with new record high on both traffic flow and earning online! Woo hoo!! 🙂 The page views was so close (yes, very close) to break the 200k mark. The same also goes to my earning, the $1000 mark was so close to archive, yet so far. 🙁 Anyway, I am confident that I can make over $1000 dollars from blogging this month and archive this year goal (earn $1000 monthly from blogging)!

On the other hand, I still have no luck with Blogads and Buysellads. 🙁 And while waiting for advertisers to order their ad spots on Blogads and Buysellads, I’ve added a new ad network to my list of online money makers. Welcome, Searchspots! 🙂

Monetize Your Search Traffic With SearchSpots

I’ve joined SearchSpots on November 26. In five days time towards December, I’ve made $5.81 which translated to a merely $1 a day. Although that was not an encouraging number, but it is still early to judge the performance of the ad network. So I’ve decided to give Searchspots a try until the end of this month. So what is Searchspots?

SearchSpots is a premium search-targeted PPC ads from Chango. Their ads are 100% search targeted and claimed that they have the ability to show ads that are highly relevant to your visitor’s search queries, thus resulting in greater CTRs.

For example, say someone does a search for ‘red shoes’ at Google. If they clicked through to an article discussing shoe trends, AdSense would likely show an ad relating to shoes or shoe stores, whereas Searchspots would display an ad specifically for red shoes. It goes without saying that the ad for red shoes probably interests the visitor more than a generic ad for shoes.

Searchspots is recommended for blogs that receive significant search engine traffic coming from the U.S. and Canada as the ads are only shown to readers from the U.S. and Canada who arrive at your site from Google, Yahoo!, or Bing. Plus, SearchSpots is AdSense-compatible. They can be used together on the same page and provides additional revenue to you. 🙂

To qualify, a site must have a minimum of 50,000 page views per month and over 20% search traffic from the US/Canada. For more info, please visit Searchspots at http://searchspots.chango.com. You can view the supported ad formats here.

P.S. : I will hold a software license giveaway in the coming days. Please stay tune to win some software licenses. 🙂
