Have you ever downloaded an archive file from a website only to find out that the file was not included or have you downloaded a wrong archive file simply because you didn’t know what’s containing inside the archive file? Things could be much better if you can actually preview the content of the archive file before downloading it.
Ghacks has discovered this handy tool to make our life easier. ArchView is an excellent Firefox extension that allows you to preview and open ZIP and RAR archive files online without first downloading them. The interesting part of ArchView is that instead of downloading the whole archive file, you can just download the files that you preferred within the archive.
ArchView supports RAR and ZIP formats. ArchView present the archive file just like a normal web page. It displays the contents almost instantly after you clicks on a zip or rar link. Here’s a screenshot which looks quite similar to other archivers (e.g. WinZip, WinRAR ).

If you are a firefox user, you should get this handy extension. Strongly recommended by My Tech Quest!
