Most of you may already noticed the new but ugly Google’s favicon – ‘g’. Sorry to say that many users and may be you also don’t like the new favicon very much. That’s make you really miss the old ‘G’ favicon.
So would you like to bring back your all-time-favourite favicon? If so, follow this simple steps to get back the old Google’s favicon. Please note that this trick is only apply for firefox browser.
- First, you need to install the GreaseMonkey firefox add-on. Skip this if you already have this add-on installed
- Next, install the required script
- Restart your browser.
- Open Google site and you will noticed the old classic Google’s favicon.

This trick works for my Firefox 2 browser but not sure on Firefox 3. Someone may want to try it out on Firefox 3 and let me know whether it works or else. Happy trying!
