Ghostery is an add-on for your Firefox browser that notifies you about the invisible web bugs, ad networks and widgets that contained on every web page. Using this firefox extension, you can find out how web sites or blogs that you visit, are watching you across every page on their site.

So what is web bugs? Well, web bugs are hidden scripts that track your behaviour and are used by the sites you visit to understand their own audience. By collecting these information, advertisers can target and serve the right ads that match to your behaviour.

    Some of the ‘web bug’ that i try can’t detect by Ghostery such as from China website ,maybe Ghostery database not fully cover.

    What i thought web bug that can detect by Ghostery is consider ‘Good’ web bug.If wanted to fully blocking this kind of script,better use ‘No script’ firefox add-on
