Google brings Touch to search feature to Chrome for Android1 min read

The latest update on Chrome for Android brings in a new feature that enables you to search words or phrases on a web page for relevant information without taking you out to a new page. It’s called Touch to search.

Simply long-press on the word you want to search or for phrase, long-press-and-highlight it. The selected word or phrase will appear at the bottom of the screen. With a tap on it, the search result will be displayed on the same web page. On the first use, tap the Allow button to enable this feature.

Other than the Touch to search feature, the newest update also brings faster Checkout with data from Google Wallet, bug fixes and performance improvements.
