Once again, Apple has changed the delivery date for Apple iPad 3G model, just as what they did to the WiFi model previously, due to strong demand from customers.
The iPad 3G was supposed to be “available in April in the US and selected countries”, then at the end of last month, the ship date for 3G model has pushed from “available in April” to “Late April”, and now the delivery date has slipped to Friday, May 7.
Customers who had already pre-ordered are still scheduled to get their iPads 3G models on time. So don’t worry about that.
Only for customers who pre-order their iPads after the changing delivery date, the shipment will be postponed until as late as May 7.
