Compare Android Smartphones with Google Phone Gallery2 min read

To pick just the right Android powered smartphone for yourself is a little more difficult than choosing the iPhone and BlackBerry smartphones as the number of Android smartphones on the market are growing rapidly.

Just look at the number of Android smartphones that manufacturers like HTC, Motorola, LG, Samsung and Sony Ericsson has released so far, and the number of new Android devices lining up to be released to the market.

So, to help making the selection process a little easier, Google has recently rolled out a new service, called the Google Phone Gallery that showcases various Android phones from HTC, Motorola, LC, Samsung and Sony Erisccon, and allows you to make side-by-side comparison of up to three different devices.

All the featured phones in the Phone Gallery are restricted to phones which comes with Google applications pre-installed including Android Market, Google Search, and other Google Mobile services such as Gmail, Maps, and YouTube.

The device that does not have Android Market, Google Search and other Google mobile services would not make appearance in the gallery.

At the time of writing, there are 23 Android phones listed in the gallery. All the phones can be filtered by manufacturer, country or carrier. Plus, you can find details on where to buy the specific phones.

Clicking on the phone will take you to a page that shows short description about the phone and all the technical specifications, features and availability of the particular phone.

As for the phone comparison part, you are allowed to compare specifications and features of up to three Android smartphones side-by-side.

The Google Phone Gallery will be regularly updated to include new Android-powered smartphones every time they come to the market and also more countries will be included.

If you are considering buying an Android smartphone, head over to Google Phone Gallery to compare the phones and make the wise choice. 🙂
