Here’s an update on the possible release date of the much-awaited redesigned iPhone 5. Earlier in December, we’ve heard that the fifth generation of the Apple smartphone could hit the market sometime around Fall 2012. Now, the iPhone 5 is rumoured to be released as early as June. Guys, that’s only two months from now!

According to a Japanese broadcaster, the Tokyo TV, a Foxconn recruiter told the broadcaster that the company needs to hire 18,000 people to manufacture the iPhone 5 and is telling the potential hires that the iPhone 5 is expected to go on sale in June.
“Because it seems it will go on sale in June,” the recruiter says in response to a question about the iPhone 5, according to a Japanese translation of the original Chinese.
