Google Play Crossed 25 Billion Downloads

Back in December last year, the people over Google celebrated their success of surpassing 10 billion Android app downloads. Back then, they held 10 days deal for top premium Android apps and games at knock-down prices of only 10 cents each.

Within 10 months, the figure has more than doubled to a whopping of 25 billion downloads from Google Play! And to date, the app marketplace for Android houses more than 675,000 of apps and games.

Google Play Crossed 25 Billion Downloads

To celebrate the impressive milestone, Google will be giving discounts to a range of premium apps. Some of them are products of the world’s top developers including Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio, runtastic, Full Fat and more. All the apps on promotion will be selling for 25 cents each.

That’s not all, for users with access to Google Play Books and Google Play Movies. You must check out some special collections from Google like 25 movies you must own, 25 banned books, 25 albums that changed the world and Google Play’s 25 top selling magazines, all at special prices.

At the time of writing, all the offers haven’t live yet. The offer, which will run for five days, should be available anytime soon.
